Great potential from a girl who is only 13 years old. Congratulations to Paul Lund, as Megan’s training has really paid off.

Fight 6
Golden Belt Amateur English Title – Thai Boxing 62-64.5kg
Kyle Jerram (Widnes Kickboxing) V Thomas Davies (Kirkby Thai)
This was the main fight of the evening for the Golden Belt English Thai Boxing Title.
The crowd were on their feet as both fighters entered the ring.
The fight was scheduled to be 4×2 minute rounds, however Jerram had other things in mind. From the start of Round 1 Jerram totally focused and went for Davies. Davies didn’t seem to have an answer for this and every time he caught Jerram it just seemed to have no effect. Jerram had his eye set on that Title.
Davies was put down with a cracking knee strike from Jerram and the referee Craig Neild issued a count. Davies stayed down and was counted out at the end of Round 1 making Kyle Jerram the new Golden Belt Amateur English Champion.

After such a cracking night of Thai Boxing, the entertainment continued with a drag act and hypnotist.
The Golden Belt would like to thank Paul and Kirsty, and all the Officials for their help in making it such a brilliant evening.
